The the defenders of a rabbit village would be fighting for nothing less than survival. A raid might not destroy all life, but the fields set ablaze would certainly invite famine. Warriors would fight tooth and nail from their tunnels, hoping to drive the invaders back to the sea. Even then, rabbit morale is a tenuous thing, ready to snap at any moment.
