>The Civețiuuk were a palm civet tribe who existed from the time of the Second Mammalayan Kingdom. The tribe was known to be largely nomadic, and gained significant notoriety within the Kingdom due to their frequent looting of fruit plantations and food stores near or along its borders. Owed to their relatively small numbers compared to the Mammalayan Kingdom's army, they would avoid direct conflict whenever possible; opting to instead slip into plantations or storehouses -- often under the cover of night, but not always -- take what they could get in a short time frame, and slip back out into the thick jungle before getting caught. Few Civețiuuk were ever reported to be captured for decades, despite extensive countermeasures from the Kingdom, and this is thought to be a contributing factor to the tribe's notoriety.
>While little historical information survives about the Civețiuuk's culture, it is presumed that music played a crucial part in it. Horn players were known to accompany most looting missions, thought of to serve purposes including rallying other party members, providing tactical information, and celebrating successful missions. Music provided by the horn player was often accompanied by percussion in the form of pawclaps.
