Source: The way that the Silver and Sans stuff fused together in regards to his backstory, personality, etc, seems to work out perfectly in my opinion. The basic gist of his life up until the start of the story I'm planning is that he was born in the future, his mom was some lady from that time but his dad was a member of a special race of beings that I call "Luna Celestials" from another dimension , and also a member of a space-time organization that monitors all of space and time. His mom's brother or dad's best friend was a scientist that traveled with the dad across time and space, but stuff happened and the dad got in trouble so Cosmix' family had to hide in the distant past (the present). Cosmix was very young then. After that, Cosmix and the scientist would travel across time and space together like Back to the Future crossed with Rick and Morty, while also conducting experiments together to learn the secrets of the universe. At this time, Cosmix' personality is basically Silver: a naive optimist with a strong sense of justice. The scientist starts out as a pretty fun and eccentric guy but overtime he grows more cynical and jaded as his experiments go further and further. Eventually the scientist is conducting an experiment that's basically a cross between the Solaris Project from '06 and Gaster's Entry Number 17 from Undertale, and it ends just as badly. The scientist is erased from existence and Cosmix gets phenomenal cosmic power. He pushes his powers as far as he can, doing everything he can to try and undo what happened and to bring the scientist back, but It's No Use. So Cosmix broke down, gave up entirely, and decided that trying to discover the secrets of the universe only bring disaster and you're better off not knowing any of it. All of this turns him into a lazy otaku that wastes all his time binge-watching anime all day every day, to cope. All of that came from crossing Silver with Sans, and I think it worked out pretty well.
