That kind of question might not occur so often if we started using and _(artist) tag after the name of every artist. I think it might make things more clear since some aliases can be similar to TV shows and other things.

It would also make searching for artists more annoying. Not to mention you'd end up with tags like "nyuu_(manekin-eko)_(artist)".
If you wanna distinguish the artist tags from all others, pray that we get the new booru software working. It has color-coded tags.

Yep, keeping searching for artists simple was the reason we decided not to use the _(artist) append. Just saying.
