I gotta comment, while this is hot, I have mixed feelings toward seeing the Major as a sub in the manips. It's a classic role reversal, but I'd be happy to see her being the Dom, which I haven't seen anywhere.
In fact, I've only seen two GITS manips in years, including this one. The other is the animated gif with an override device jacked into her, while she's banged doggystyle.
I'd think due to the popularity of GITS, and the tech in the GITS universe there'd be a lot more art here.

I've always liked the original art sleepymaid did of her.
As for whether she (or any strong female character )should be hypnotized, hrrrmmm.
I think for example, when people do some kind of really humiliating/debasing image of the new tomb raider--where half the point in the reboot was to restore dignity to the character--I guess it kind of rubs me the wrong way.
I still enjoy a lot of hypnosis pics from a pure aesthetic, raw sexual interest, but at times the nasty implications of it are a more than a little disheartening, especially when rape or any kind of violence directed at women is made literal and explicit.
Not to knock anyone else's specific fetish. Just self-shaming :P

Honestly MC is a pretty messed up fetish, particularly in this medium. It's basically all rape fetishization, both physical and mental. In text you can get more context and characters that consent (though whether this is a thing that consent is valid for is arguable), but it's pretty much impossible to do that in a single image.
But that's not really a problem, in my opinion. You get off on whatever gets you off. It's a problem if you carry the unfortunate connotations of these works into something that isn't just porn.
Basically I don't think porn is worth philosophizing or thinking overly much about. If it gets you off, fine, and if it doesn't, that's fine too. Just don't take porn attitudes into real life.

At the risk of going even further off topic, I'd argue that porn is very much something that should be philosophized about. It gives some very interesting insight into the human psyche, from both a psychological and sociological perspective.
I'd also argue the "MC = rape" thing, myself, but it's been done to death. My standpoint is simple, though: everyone is influenced all the time at some levels. MC fetish is just a fantasy of absolute influence. So, while it can be often paired with rape of some sort, it's more like convincing someone (often without their consent, in context) to do something sexual.
All that aside, this pic is hot.

Anyway, I'm not complaining so much about the sub-deal, although it does rub me the wrong way. It's somebody's kink, and I can't fault people for enjoying it.
I'm just lamenting the dearth of material with Kusanagi being the Dom. And the fact that there's only 6 GITS tagged images on here at all. I'm surprised there isn't a whole bunch of robot, doll, and body control stuff as well as implanted memory stuff and mind wiping. I'm surprised such a fertile source has so little representation.
