When adding a bunch of images that are part of the same set, is there anything I can do to child them that's less cumbersome than doing it one-by-one once they're already uploaded? Since the parent is usually the last post, its post number won't exist yet...
(i hate dumping 10+ images onto the front page with nothing but "tagme" on them)

Nope, there's no easier way.
