I love the Kaa eye look in general, but the circles are so big and varied in size that my first instinct at looking at this was "googly eyes" rather than hypnosis Kaa eyes... I probably would not have gotten that feeling if there was one more ring, or if the yellow ring was a tad bigger, in both peoples' eyes. Still damn good art work!

I have never been able to get kaa eyes right. I don't know if it's the color or the lines like you say or what but it drives me crazy. Definitely gonna mess with the line spacing now. Least I know that's too big. PROGRESS.

It also helps to make the color scheme different in each eye, so that the eyes are mismatched.

That I completely agree with. I tied to get that really nice color pattern (which I can never seem to do) and just sort of forgot to check...
