From what very little I can make out using Google Translate, this and http://hypno.booru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=7491 seem to be from/for a game the artist is making (using RPG Maker?).

Judging by the source link I would say someone is actually making a game. Kind of like that one with the tentacle monster. I don't think it's done yet though and when it is I doubt it'll ever be translated. I mean do translation groups even work on RPG Maker games?

lost+name do you remember the name of that game? If it was the one mentioned hc where you play as the tentacle monster I've always been looking for it now that I figured out how to use the translators.

thanks! I was browsing hongfire for the best translators and picked up atlas and agth and found on a separate google search a less technical explanation so I could understand ( http://meltdowner.tumblr.com/pos...gth-and-atlas-translation ) when I use this method it feels a little rough but I don't have anything to compare it to other than that it worked out for me. I'm not a good teacher and I'm horrible at searching the internet for information so there might be a better tutorial somewhere.

I used to use AGTH, myself. But recently, I found a program that doesn't require the creation of all those pesky shortcut files.
I believe it was called ITH (Interactive Text Hooker) and was based on the AGTH program, but designed with a better UI and made to be easier to use, alongside a few improvements that allow it to hook to some games that otherwise require h-codes (hook codes) with AGTH.

Using its basic hooking feature is very simple. Run the game you want to translate, run ITH (NOT the 64-bit version - as far as I'm aware, no h-games are 64-bit yet, so it won't work), click the button "Processes", find the game's .exe file in a list, click the "Attach" button, and there you go.
Then you can go and run Translation Aggregator and get your translations.
It sounds a little confusing at first, but when you have the UI in front of you, you'll find that it's 10x simpler and far quicker than AGTH and its shortcuts.

It was a fun little way to waste time for a while, though he only has 2 characters finished thus far. He DOES have a character preview feature that unlocks after you get the first two, though, so you can at least see what they look like.
Player's tip: every action in this game is done via talking to the right person/object at the right time. Don't think you somehow need to enable use of the spells and items in the menu like I did, as they're just there for the descriptions thus far.

For some reason, I can't extract the game after downloading it.
Keep getting the classic, "windows can't do this" and it closes. Happens with all 3 downloads. Missing something?
