So Mindwipe and I started manipping this at the same time, by something akin to coincidence. We finished and compared works, deciding that we both like aspects of each other's more.

So I came up with the pain-in-the-ass idea to combine the best aspects of both and make a collaboration. 3 and a half hours later, it was done.

Why did it take so long, you ask? Because of Mindwipe's 1-pixel-is-off OCD.

Of course, I helped by being a pain in the ass about it, too.

Shame we couldn't have put this kind of effort towards a pic that wasn't already MC. :P

So I'm temped to ask to see the original. This seems like it was a bit of an ambitious project and it's a hobby of mine to compare the original to the finished product.

Is this possible? A link or a child post or something of that manner maybe.

To be honest, it's almost dissappointing that there's like... no change... between the two versions.

Hey, if you can spot much of a difference between the manip and the original, then I think we did our job pretty well. But you'd be surprised how much is actually different when you look close. All the light reflection spots were erased, the lighter part of the irises were dulled, the border of Venus' eyes had to practically be redrawn, the sclera of Venus' right eye had to be changed so that the shading made sense, and a small error in Venus' hair was corrected.

That being said, empty eye manips are by their nature not much different from the original pics, and we didn't want to change anything else because this pic was practically perfect the way it was.

Because he deserves it for putting up with me. I doubt the two of us will ever collaborate like this again. We were both getting frustrated with each other the longer we worked on it. XD

Of course, there's always a chance that we could work together again on a manip if we coordinate better.

Oh, Mindwipe. I was just mimicking your OCD. ;)
Do you think I actually cared about most of those little errors? I just figured that, if you had an issue with one small error, may as well fix 'em all. :P

See how frustrating you can be? XD

Next time, and I'm sure it'll come, maybe we can try to coordinate on a CASUAL manip, instead of pixel-by-pixel.
