New-ish. Iirc, he started it ages ago but decided to stop making it for some reason or another. Sometime recently, apparently, he up and decided to finish it.
Ya know, I'm constantly impressed at his progress as an artist. I went from only mildly liking him sometimes, to genuinely liking his newer work.
...of course, it doesn't hurt than Hinata's involved.

Lol I really never thought I'd hear someone ask that. Although, it might explain a few things...:P
Anyway a commission is just when someone pays someone else to do a certain task. In this case that task is drawing.
