why isn't the high res version the main one?

Because, in this case, the full res is FUCKING HUGE. XD
Most people like to be able to see most of the image on their screen all at once. But for those that don't, the full res is here.

I'd be lying if I said the automatic resize feature isn't one of the biggest reasons I hope we can get that other booru software working.
