I got it to work, petal! :D
I have NO idea what was wrong with these images. I finally had to copy them, and paste them as a new image in GIMP, then save them for it to work. I hope the quality didn't suffer (there shouldn't be much of a difference, anyway).
I also hope we never have this problem again. -_-'
