Gotta say that this looks less like "empty eyes" and more like just an art style, especially considering no one's expression looks particulary tranced. I don't think this one's mind control at all.

The original wasn't mind control, but manipulator manipped empty eyes onto it.

Well then it's a very poor and lazy manip. The context is quite clearly a casual girls' love thing with nothing to really suggest "control" anywhere.

I'd just like to point out that there's a difference between "poor and lazy" and just questionable choice in source material. The only real problem here is a lack of context that points to MC. This is the type of manip that works better with text.

Hmm..., maybe "fix" wasn't the best word. I guess I'll mull it over; whether or not I'll re-alter this pic. Although, if I do decide to edit this further it won't be a text manip.

Yeah, the manip is fine, but I can see why people would question if it's MC or not. Empty eyes alone, as much as most love them, isn't enough to warrant MC for many people.
I can find a few ways this would be MC. More than just a few, actually. But I've always been known to have an epic imagination, so I'm hardly the a good example.
I might make this a text manip sometime, but I'm just not feeling it at this very hour. Gotta be in a certain type of mood to write text manips.
