Not bad! It would have been nice if we could "enhance" this one a bit, but this is better than nothing.
Did you just remove the "Pokeballs" & reveal what the artist did or draw your own "details"?

You'd be surprised what you can do with the Smudge and Path tools in Gimp. All I did was smudge the colors surrounding the Pokeballs inward, and connect the lines with the path tool.
I also posted this image in Stem_Cell's thread, so it could still be enhanced if he wants to take a crack at it.
