Do dragons actually count as 'furry' because you know, they kinda don't normally have fur and I do not see any in this picture.

@Digitalgame
Any animal or anthropomorphic animal counts as furry, at least as far as this site is concerned. "Furry" is just the term we chose to use, mainly because we took a lot of cues from Hypnochan.

a friend of mine told me they call it scalely cause you know scales but we might as well call it furry like Mindwipe says.

If you want to get technical, if I remember correctly, it's actually a fetish of Anthropomorphism, or the attribution of human traits to non-human life and inanimate objects - in this case, limited to just animals. But honestly, people just call it "furry" because it's easier to type than anthropomorphism.

The "fur" in the way fetishists use furry is symbolic. It's something, in the minds of most people, that is solely related to animals.

Of course, within the furry fetish you'll find sub-fetishes dependent on the type of animal portrayed. For example, as mentioned above, scalies is the term used for any scale-bearing animal.

You know, it's funny. I'd probably even have a mild furry fetish if the fetish weren't drowned with yaoi... Just makes it so hard for me to sit and search through and enjoy. XD

If you like what you see, does it really matter what it's called? <smile> "furry" isn't an insult any more than "hypo-fetishist" is after all, both are just really fun kinks.
