I'm just impressed you seem to have downloaded Wild Words for the sole purpose of manipping, unless you're making some manga on the side that I don't know about.

Yes, it's a font, and it's the font most scanlation groups use for manga. I also see it used frequently on hard translated images on Gelbooru.
I'm using it purely because I find it pleasant to look at (probably because of all the translated manga I've read).
All that said, do you think I should stop using it so much? I'm looking for feedback on my manips now more than ever, since this text thing is kind of a new venture for me. I plan on making more text manips soon, though most will be like the first few I uploaded, and not caption-style like this.

While obviously most people won't recognize it by name, WW is instantly recognizable as the "manga font." This is not necessarily a bad thing--I think it actually helps dialogue blend in since it registers the same as what you're used to seeing in a text bubble. I would keep using it.
