Yup, I'm probably going to actually BUY this game, rather than pirate it. I MUST support this group!

I know what you mean. I played the trial, and it's already my favorite MC game thus far. Too bad AGTH/ITH doesn't seem to work with it.

"Too bad AGTH/ITH doesn't seem to work with it."

Noooooooo!

*thinks*

Though it's probably just in need of an AGTH code. With the quality of that game, I wouldn't be surprised if someone already found it using the demo.

Let's hope you're right.

I also toyed with the idea of what if people who really liked this game chipped in jointly to commission a group to translate this. Though that's probably unrealistic. Have commissions for visual novels ever been done before?

Translating a visual novel is a huge undertaking. You can try to get some donors together, pool your donations, and commission somebody to translate one. However, it's no accident that most of the visual novels (eroge and non-eroge alike) that have been translated into English by the fan community have been done out of the goodness of people's hearts completely free of charge. They've been labors of love which expected no financial recompense. But don't let what I've said dismay you. You guys could be the pioneers who start the fandom down the path of commissioned eroge translations.

My advice? Find a translator whose work you respect and ask him three things:
1) what would he charge for an undertaking like this?
2) when can he promise you'd have it by?
3) who else might he recommend?

There are other things you should be concerned about too (like which systems does he promise his script will work on, will he provide an auto-patcher, and so on) but those three questions above are the top three things I'd ask.
