Original Artists & Manips
I have a question regarding the tagging of manipulated pictures or "manips." Right now there seems to be a policy in place for tagging manips with the person who did the image editing. So for example, "manip_(mindwipe)" or "lost+name (manipper)". What I am wondering is, when the source of an image is identified -- like in this case here http://hypno.booru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=393 -- do you want us to introduce a tag with the original artist's name or not? And if so, how?
On most boorus the policy seems to be to include the artist's name as a tag. That way people who like the artist's artwork can find more like it. But I don't see that happening much on Hypnobooru and I'm wondering if there's a reason for that besides people just not knowing who drew what.
Then, if we assume you do want the original rtist listed, I'm wondering how you want them listed. On boorus like Danbooru or Gelbooru, there appears to be a special way to indicate that the tag you're writing is the artist's name and the result is that their name shows up in a different color than normal. I haven't seen anything like that here so, in the absence of such a feature, how do you want us to standardize this? Some examples are provided below:
1) just the name. So like "saburou", "ookami_ryousuke", and "john_macintosh"
2) "saburou_(artist)"
3) "saburou_(original_artist)"
