Is it just me or does it look like she's standing in this pic?

If she is, I would think her hair wouldn't be laying like that. On the other hand, if she's lying down, her neck must really hurt.

She could be lying with a pillow under the neck. You can get your head in that position comfortably with a pillow.
Hard to say for sure what she's doing, because there's no real context other than my sloppily-added prop. XD
