How is this not below the 'standards'?

I can't really spot anything glaringly wrong with it...

It's worst overall quality than something that was removed earlier this week.

That's very much an opinion-based statement, but in any case, we tend to be somewhat easier on original art than manips (note that most of what is removed are manips), because original art is harder to make. We also try to only flag pics we can spot noticeable errors in. In this case, the only thing I could really take any issue with is the jittery outlines, and that's not too big of a deal. After all, we allow sketches and oekaki drawings. Everything else is fine, really. The proportions seem right. There's no major lack of detail. The coloring is fine...

All I could really list are nitpicks that aren't worth deleting it for, imo. Do I personally like this style? No, not really. But I can't come up with any reason to flag it that isn't "I don't care for it".

I'd not fap to this, myself. But to be fair, Mindwipe's summary of quality concerns more or less hits the spot. If you look at the individual aspects of the art, the only real downside to it is the fact that the outlines are all squiggly.

As the original artist, it's amusing to me that you all are arguing about retaining this one, rather than my goofy cartoon about the turkey god which Grim also posted.

You know what they say, voyer. Subjectivity can get confusing.

I suppose I can see it - some of voyer's hands were kind of jagged, and perhaps this one was a slight cut above the rest? But honestly for me, ideas always play a greater part of what I can fap to, and voyer does have some very nice ideas... nabs too, but his work can't pass

then again I'm putting a picture of dog's playing D&D on my wall, so I'm no man of great taste
