~`Forbidden Content`~
~Child Pornography~
This one goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. DO NOT upload any child pornography. DO NOT upload ANY pictures of underage individuals. Any real-life pictures must NOT involve anyone under the age of 18, clothed or otherwise. Breaking this rule will result in a swift, merciless, ban.
~Loli/Shota~
This is a rule of our host. If it is not followed, hypnobooru will be taken offline. As such, it MUST be obeyed. Absolutely no loli/shota content may be posted. Loli/Shota shall be defined as any character which is VISIBLY underage. Canonical age is irrelevant. If it LOOKS too young (small and underdeveloped), do not post it. Breaking this rule will result in a swift, merciless, ban.
~Extreme Guro~
Not allowed. Seriously. If you like it, that's your business. Either way, it doesn't belong here. If it's posted it will be removed and punishments may be handed out. A little blood here and there and other things considered light guro is to be judged on a case-by-case basis. The term "extreme guro" is self-explanatory; I won't be defining it.
~Real-Life Bestiality~
Bestiality is only permitted in DRAWN images. Never upload an image depicting real life bestiality.
~Watermarked Images~
Watermarked images from commercial sites are forbidden. Watermarks placed by the artist are permitted.
~Rosvo Images~
Rosvo has asked for his images to not be posted here. Do not post ANY images drawn by Rosvo.
~Non-Hypno/Mind Control~
It should be dead obvious that this is a site for hypnosis/mind control fetish art. As such, any pics you post here must contain something that is obviously related to the subject. This is not a place to dump your favorite porn pics; there are plenty of other places for that. If we have to stretch our imaginations to make your pic seem like hypno/MC, it will be deleted.
Note, For Drawn Content: Signs and methods of MC present in the source media for the image counts as MC. For example, the Celine Flower in To Love-Ru counts as the image being MC, despite needing knowledge of the source to realize that it is MC.
Note, For Real Photos: Unless an obvious sign of the involvement of hypnosis or mind control (such as a swinging pendulum) is present in the image or the image is a text manip that explains the hypnosis or mind control in some way, all real photos and images must come from a media source that pertains to hypnosis or mind control, such as an MC fetish video or photo shoot.
~Poor Quality Work~
It is not our intention to be art snobs. However, we also don’t believe that EVERY piece of hypnosis art needs to be posted here. With this in mind, any pics we deem to be of poor quality will be flagged for deletion. Here are some examples of what we consider to be poor quality:
- Crudely photoshopped eyes. This includes pics where the eyes have been sloppily (as in not staying within borders) whited-out or filled with a solid color, or pics where eyes from another pic have been copied/pasted onto the pic.
- Text manips riddled with spelling/grammar errors to the point they become unreadable. Typos and small grammar errors are fine.
-Text manips where the text has little or nothing to do with what is being portrayed in the image.
- Any original art that lacks basic quality standards. This includes things such as stick figures, and art with excessively bad anatomy.
If we judge a pic to be of poor quality, a moderator will leave a comment on the image. From there, the image will be removed within about 24 hours, unless the community decides to keep it. To do so, leave a comment on the pic. If you provide a reason why you do not believe the pic is poor quality, your post will count for 5 points. If you leave a reply such as “I like it” or “keep it”, your post will count for 2 points. Only registered users will have their votes counted. An image needs a score of at least 10 to stay. Additionally, if both other moderators disagree with a flagging, they can remove said flagging without the need of a community vote.
~Please Note~
Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from punishment. It is your responsibility to read and follow the rules (even if they are inconveniently placed in the forums).
If you see anything posted that breaks any of the rules above, please report it immediately using the "report" link above the image.
These rules are guidelines. What is and is not acceptable and the punishments involved is at the sole discretion of the hypnobooru administration.
~`Posting Guidelines`~
Please, tag your images. You do not have to be super-detailed, but at least try to tag basic things like the character (if known), artist (if known), induction, dom/sub, sub-fetishes, etc. See “Tagging Guide” sticky for more info.
Do not troll or flame. Like it says at the top of the page, you must be at least 18 to visit this site. If you act like a child, we will assume you are too young to be here, and we shall act accordingly. In addition, keep in mind that, if you have an account, you can blacklist tags. If there is a particular tag you do not wish to see, blacklist it. Do not post intolerant comments on pics or in the forums, and do not rate down a pic just because you don’t like what is portrayed in it. Rating down pics is meant to be used when you don't like the art, not because you don't like the fetishes involved.
Users are allowed to comment anonymously, but anonymous uploading is currently disabled. Either of these can change at any time at staff discretion.
~`Manga/Doujinshi Guidelines`~
Manga/doujinshi may be posted in their entirety. However, if it is more than 5 pages long, every page must be made into a child post of the cover image (or first page, if there is no cover). The parent image must be tagged with every tag that is relevant to the manga (it is not necessary to tag the other pages). If the manga has an E-Hentai gallery or similar, I would recommend putting a link to it in the source field, as it is easier to read manga there than here.
Note: I recommend uploading the pages of doujinshi/manga in reverse order so that they appear in the correct order after posting.
