Undelete?
Can someone with mod privileges undelete my pictures? The dupe detection isn't letting me put them back.

It isn't possible to undelete a picture, even for mods. You CAN get past the dupe detection by re-saving the images (load them in an image editor and use "save as"). As always, though, I would ask that you not upload them all at once, since people usually don't like it when a single artist/manipper takes up multiple pages.

I'd personally pick about 10 manips a day to upload, and if they end up taking up a whole page due to lack of uploads, then oh well, that's not your fault.

Please, do not re-save a JPEG, it loses quality. If you want to bypass the dupe detection, change metadata of the image (such as JPEG comment), or for something that can be automated, add one or more garbage bytes at the end of the file.

For example, on Windows, run this from a prompt, batch file or whatever:
echo . >> filename.jpg

If you use a program like GIMP, you can save JPGs in high quality. Any loss would be so miniscule that no one would be able to notice.

'Tis true. GIMP is awesome at saving JPGs. As a general rule of thumb, though, PNG is usually the widely accepted compression.

I only WISH everything was saved as lossless PNGs. >.>

Oh well. I still think a single command (that can be automated) is simplier.
