One of my favorite parts of Hypnochan was the manip request thread; it allowed people who weren't terribly skilled artists to still provide content, and made the whole community feel a lot tighter. I know this board isn't exactly meant for this kind of thing, but I thought it might be fun to start something similar here.
Since this isn't an imageboard, requests will have to be made via links. Once they're fulfilled, however, they can simply be posted on the Booru proper.

I'm down with this. As a manipper, you never know when someone might request a pic you really like. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Neither is a trivial matter of simply smudging the eyes though. You'll want to get rid of those blushes on the cheeks, I would think, and also edit the shapes of the mouths. Anaru's especially since hers clearly makes her look uncomfortable which she wouldn't be if she was your typical empty_eyes hypnotized girl. The small smile on the second you could perhaps get away with leaving in but I think it'd jeopardize the illusion of the hypnosis manipulation as well.

Not necessarily. It would depend on what kind of trance you were looking to portray. For example, that second pic's sweet smile and blush would work fine if you manipped it in a way that would make her seem to be brainwashed to love, or some such.

Always remember that there is more than just the empty-minded trance, even if it is the most popular.

I took your advice on the blush, sctoagn, but the mouth was a touch trickier. I tried tweening it, but it wouldn't come out quite right. Eventually, I settled on pulling a different mouth altogether from another pic. I'm pretty happy with the end result.

It's funny, the hardest part of this whole thing was recoloring the censor pixels. They always wound up looking really out of place.

And I've always wanted to start playing the Persona games, but have never really gotten around to it. Maybe this is just the push I need to start. :D
